螺旋風管其長度等方麵是要好於矩形風管：這是由於普通的螺旋風管，其正常長度是為3米到6米，而矩形風管其是為1米到1.5米，除此之外，螺旋風管的長度，還能夠依照具體需求來定做，從其它方麵來看，螺旋風管中的連接點，是能夠很大程度上根絕的，由於其風管之間的連接，隻用管接件，而矩形風管則需求雙法蘭體係。

1、通風管道加工的過程中應該盡量避免出現縱向接縫，但是一定不能出現橫向接縫。而且通風管道的咬口縫和四角的縫隙處，需要按照設計潔淨等級要求，然後還要采用密封膠將其堵嚴。另外通風管道板材的連接縫的密封麵應該設在通風管道壁的正壓側。

2、加工的時候，不能在通風管道內部設置加固框或者加固筋，因為這樣對於通風管道的質量會造成一定的影響。

3、通風管道加工不能采用S型插條和C型直角插條的連接方式，另外對於一些特殊的通風管道來說，還不能采用按扣式的咬口。
